Rochele Padiachy is a learning and social impact leader who cares deeply about helping people and organizations grow in ways that are equitable, inclusive, and grounded in human experience. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, she came to Canada as a refugee during apartheid, a journey that continues to shape her perspective and her commitment to justice, dignity, and community. Guided by the philosophy of Ubuntu, which emphasizes our shared humanity and interconnectedness, Rochele approaches her work with empathy, curiosity, and a strong belief in the power of learning to create meaningful transformation.
She holds an MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University, a BA in Multicultural and Indigenous Studies from York University, and an Executive Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, training, and mentorship, Rochele has supported learning initiatives across complex public systems, helping individuals and teams build skills, confidence, and capacity.
Rochele previously served as Director of Programs and Events for the Council of African Professionals and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the City of Markham’s Race Relations Committee. She is known for her thoughtful, collaborative style and for making complex ideas accessible and practical. At CCDI, she designs and leads learning experiences that foster reflection and connection while advancing strategy, transformation, and innovation across organizations and communities.
