ENGAGE. LEARN. CONNECT.
CCDI Community of Practice events are interactive learning sessions across Canada that have collaborative learning sessions designed to foster an inclusive environment where participants feel secure exploring complex topics related to DEIA initiatives.
These 2.5- to 3-hour events are held virtually and in-person in select cities across Canada, offering an opportunity to strengthen cultural competence, build community, and share real-world strategies that advance equity, inclusion and diversity.
Transdisciplinary Approaches to DEIA
No matter your level of experience with diversity, equity and inclusion, human rights, or human resources, our Community of Practice events will provide you with a unique learning experience.
Through collaborative convening and resource sharing, participants will have opportunities to develop critical reflection tools, learn the languages of conflict resolution, and find resources through collective wisdom. Relational approaches can help us centre a dynamic, interconnected, future-oriented approach to DEIA, rooted in human rights and justice – a future where everyone belongs.

Delivery and format
CCDI Community of Practice events are held both virtually and in person, using the same content and delivery methods across all sessions. The experience of the event will differ based on attendees’ level of participation in each session. Because these sessions are experiential, a significant portion of the time will be devoted to engagement, practice, and activities.
