    Éveiller la collectivité : approches transdisciplinaires de la DÉIA – Ottawa

    Cette séance, intitulée Éveiller la collectivité, nous invite à passer à l’action à travers une collaboration étroite. Partant du principe que chacun·e a un rôle essentiel à jouer dans la transformation des systèmes, les participant·e·s pourront partager leurs connaissances, dialoguer et mener une réflexion critique qui transcende l’expertise individuelle. Les approches transdisciplinaires de la DÉIA créent des ponts entre diverses pratiques, connaissances et expériences de vie afin de résoudre des problèmes complexes ou de générer de nouvelles connaissances. Les perspectives uniques et les diverses façons d’apprendre soutiennent les initiatives de DÉIA. Apprendre à appliquer des approches transdisciplinaires renforcera notre capacité à lutter contre la polarisation, la désinformation et les menaces qui pèsent sur la DÉIA. 

    Ensemble, nous explorerons comment les approches transdisciplinaires en matière de DÉIA sont non seulement possibles, mais aussi essentielles pour construire un avenir équitable où la complexité est accueillie, où plusieurs vérités coexistent et où la transformation est cocréée et codirigée. 

    Objectifs d’apprentissage et de participation  

    • Entrer en contact avec d’autres praticien·ne·s, leaders et acteur·trice·s de changement en matière de DÉIA afin de dépasser l’apprentissage traditionnel cloisonné et de susciter quelque chose de plus puissant : une collectivité. 
    • Donner aux participant·e·s les moyens de relier diverses façons d’apprendre, y compris les expériences vécues et actuelles, à travers différents rôles, secteurs et communautés. 
    • Développer de nouvelles perspectives et connaissances afin d’appliquer des approches transdisciplinaires aux initiatives et stratégies en matière de DÉIA.  
    • Développer davantage la maîtrise de la pensée critique grâce à l’intersectionnalité et à la réflexivité, outils essentiels pour lutter contre la désinformation, les dichotomies et les préjugés. 
    • Illustrer le pouvoir de la cocréation de nouvelles pratiques et approches à travers la recherche commune, l’innovation et la responsabilité relationnelle.

    This session, Sparking the collective, calls us to action through deep collaboration. Grounded in the belief that everyone has a vital role to play in transforming systems, participants will be able to engage in knowledge sharing, dialogue and critical reflection that transcends singular expertise. Transdisciplinary approaches to DEIA create bridges between various practices, knowledge and living experiences to solve complex problems or generate new knowledge.​ Unique perspectives and diverse ways of knowing sustain DEIA initiatives, learning how to apply transdisciplinary approaches will strengthen our ability to challenge the rise of polarization, misinformation and the threats to DEIA. ​ 

    Together, we will explore how transdisciplinary approaches in DEIA are not only possible, but very much essential to building equitable futures where complexity is welcomed, multiple truths are held, and transformation is co-created and co-led. ​
